The Courses
The Plant Course
This year is the first for The Plant Course. It aims to give the student an introduction to plants.
The Specialist Plant Course
This course has been running successfully for several years and is aimed at the student who has already gained a basic understanding of plants.
The Tours
These have been organised specifically to back up the lectures at The Plant School and students from both The Plant Course and The Specialist Plant Course will get preferential places on the tours.
Plant Identification Days
Again this is a series of four different days though the year based on identification of plants in the different seasons. These days are ideal for gardeners wanting to recognise plants both in their gardens and in the wild. Contact The Plant School to find out more.
Chelsea Flower Show Drinks Party
This party serves as a reunion for past students and also enables the present year students to meet up with each other on an informal basis. This year it will again be held on the Thursday of Chelsea Flower show week (Thursday 22nd May, 6.30 - 8.30pm).
The Future
After completion of the courses, students may wish to use their newfound knowledge in their own gardens. However many will go in into the world of media, garden design and other areas of horticulture putting their knowledge to effective use in a new career. A great many students keep in touch and it is often possible to help them to find work in their chosen area of interest.
Plant Family Days
There will be a series of four days in the year when students can come and learn about the different plant families and how the plants are related to each other. The days are practically orientated and are 'hands on' so that students can see the plants and understand their structures. The days are spread over the year so that plants can be seen and enjoyed in the different seasons. They are idea for gardeners wanting to know and understand more about their plants.

Background course information
We can put you in touch with students that have been on our courses and tours and they can give you an independent idea of the level of plant knowledge they contain.
You can arrange a time to meet R.C-P and she can discuss the courses, tours and evening lectures and answer any questions you may have.
