Riviera Tour 2008 - Acid Soils
A most enjoyable tour of the gardens and indigenous plants of the French Riviera was completed at the beginning of May. The season was late this year and there where plenty of plant of interest in the gardens which would normally be over. Several exceptional wild plants were noted this year both on the alkaline slopes and also the acid soils in the surrounding hills. The tour is planned again for the Spring of 2009. Numbers are always limited so please register your interest early if you are thinking of joining this tour.
