Plant Tours
Learning from observing plants in their natural habitats
These have been organised specifically to back up the lectures at The Plant School and students from the courses will get preferential places on the tours.
They aim to look at plants in their natural habitats leading to a better understanding of the way these plants should be grown and appreciated. They are useful for plant enthusiasts and also those interested in plant photography.
Recent plant tours have been to the Cape Floral Kingdom of South Africa in November 2008, and the Riviera in the South of France in May 2008. Tours in England have included a successful Magnolia Plant Tour in spring 2006. A tour is planned to South Africa to the Drakensbergs and The Cape in 2010/2011.
