The Tours
These have been organised specifically to back up the lectures at The Plant School and students from the courses will get preferential places on the tours.
They are aimed at looking at plants in their natural habitats leading to a better understanding of the way these plants should be grown and appreciated. They are useful for plant enthusiasts and also those interested in plant photography.
Recent plant tours have been to the Cape Floral Kingdom of South Africa, and the Riviera in the South of France. Tours in England have included a successful tour of Magnolia in spring 2006. A tour is planned for The Riviera in May 2008 and also a return tour to the Cape Floral Kingdom in November 2008.
